Send a sourcing requirement. Follow it to a shortlist.

SourceDesk is where your buyers set out what they need and your sourcing team works on it: clarifying the requirement, researching suppliers and sharing options, with every step recorded — on your own server.

Who it is for

Organisations whose buyers need products, services or materials found, and a sourcing team (or adviser) who does the finding.

The problem

Sourcing requests get lost in email threads, with no clear status and no record of which suppliers were considered.

The outcome

Every request has a clear status, a recorded trail and a shortlist the buyer can download.

What it does
  • Submit a requirement: specification, quantity, deadline, delivery region and attachments
  • Status from draft to closed: submitted, clarification needed, in review, options shared
  • Clarification questions answered in the same place
  • A supplier shortlist to download
  • Private to your organisation

Self-hosted: it runs on your own Windows or Linux server (a Windows installer, or Docker on Linux), so your data never leaves your organisation. Every new installation includes a 30-day free trial; a DTD licence includes signed updates.

Your data

Your data stays on your server. DTD never receives it. The only thing your installation sends DTD is a check for updates, which carries its version number.

Supplier options are researched and reviewed by people. SourceDesk does not invent quotations or claim a supplier is verified.

The difference

Flat

Per-user prices grow with every hire. Ours stay flat within the plan.

Why it costs less

It runs on your server

Your data stays in your organisation, so our price carries no hosting bill of ours.

Flat prices, no per-user charges

Team plans are one price for the organisation. Adding a colleague costs nothing more within the plan.

Published, not “call for a quote”

Every plan price is published on our website. A 30-day free trial comes with every new installation.

Download

Get SourceDesk.

SourceDesk installs on your own Windows or Linux server, and your data never leaves it. Every new installation includes a 30-day free trial. Unzip it and follow README.txt. Check your download against the SHA-256 checksums.

Includes Ask, an assistant that runs the app’s own checks and reports on your records and explains them. It can use a free, open-source AI model on your own server (through Ollama), so nothing is sent to DTD or any AI company, and it still works without AI.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is it available now?

Yes. Download SourceDesk below and install it on your own server; every new installation includes a 30-day free trial.

Where does it run, and where is our data?

On your own Windows or Linux server, or a Docker host. Your data stays there and DTD never receives it; the installation only checks DTD for updates, sending its version number.

How are updates handled?

A DTD licence key includes updates. The installation fetches signed updates and applies them overnight, keeping the previous version to fall back to.

What does it cost?

Team £49 a month (up to 10 users) or Business £149 a month (up to 50 users), per organisation, after a 30-day free trial. Or pay yearly and get two months free. All five self-hosted apps together (the DTD Suite) are Suite Team £199 a month (all five apps, Team plans), per organisation.

Does SourceDesk find suppliers by itself?

No. Your team (or DTD, if you engage our Sourcing Advisory practice) researches and reviews the options. SourceDesk records the work; it does not invent quotations or verify suppliers automatically.
